Function: Operations
Reporting Relationship: The Production Operator reports to the Operations Director

Job Summary
The Production Operator will carry product assembly and test, inventory management, packing, shipping product and any other duties required within the manufacturing environment. In this environment the expectation is that all team members are flexible and willing to work outside of their normal role as required.

Essential Requirements

Adhere to all Health and Safety Standards.

Maintain required quality levels and manufacture right first-time products.

Follow all instructions required to meet the production plan.

Manufacture product in line with Work Instructions (WI’s).

Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).

Actively contribute towards improving product, process and manufacturing areas.

Maintain and update documentation and manufacturing related records. 

Promptly escalate all issues.

Perform any other duties as required.


Skills and Experience

Previous product assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.

Soldering skills (Preferably to IPC 610).

High level of dexterity and ability to handle small components.

Able to interpret, receive direction and apply both written and oral communication.

Flexible and able to quickly learn new tasks.

Self motivated and able to work unsupervised.

Able to work in multiple areas as required.

Basic problem solving

Data entry and basic computer skills.

Hours

Mon – Thu:     08:30 to 16:30

Fri:                   08:30 to 14:30

Lunch:             30 minutes

Note:               Must be flexible and able to work overtime and / or various hours as required
